I hate questions.

Why do people feel the need to always ask questions? Technically, that in itself is a question... but you know what I mean.

"Where are you going?
"What time?"
"With who?"
"What for?"

I swear as soon as I wake up, it's question after question.

ENOUGH WITH THE QUESTIONS.

Andrew Lansley. Tosser.

This is definately worth watching.

I'm thinking, What The Hell?

I'm a huge Avril Lavinge fan and I love the song 'What The Hell' from her new album.
But the video? Not so much.

Within the first minute, we've seen a Sony laptop, a Sony TV and both her perfumes. She then goes into a clothes shop, magically finds her own brand 'Abby Dawn' and decides to wear her 'What The Hell' t-shirt for the remainder of the video.

After this, she performs on stage where a Sony Ericsson phone is waved in the air.

When did music videos become more about advertising than the music? Or have they always been like that and I was just oblivious to it?

Senseless Census

I was filling out my page in the Census when I realised how bizarre some of the questions are...

What is your legal marital or same-sex civil partnership status?
Married, divorced, widowed.. etc
and then:
'surviving partner from a same-sex civil partnership.'
Interesting wording.

After this I had to choose my ethnic group. Of which, 'Gypsy or Irish Traveller' was an option.

Q17 says: "This question is intentionally left blank --> to go 18"
What exactly is the point in this?

And why is it that when I read these ridiculous questions, I got the image in my head of Clegg and Cameron writing them saying 'we'll put this one in just for fun! They're too stupid to notice...'

It's a good thing we only do these every 10 years.

Sickly Sweet

I'm feeling rather ill and this is why...

I had food technology today and we had to make bread, so I decided to make Peshwari Naan - although it ended up more like a cornish pasty. :/

My friend was slightly disorganised and after raiding the cupboard and fridges, found some ingredients which would make a pizza dough, as well as a lump of butter and icing sugar. So she made some biscuits and buttery icing stuff (can't remember it's proper name).

I would die for a life-time's supply of this stuff (even though that makes no sense). Seriously, it was amazing!

So a long story short, I devoured an entire bowl of icing and now 4 hours later, I still feel like i'm going to be sick.

It's time to move on.

Rebecca Black's 'Friday' has now reached over 58,000,000 views on YouTube. Hmmm. I don't think it's even nesseccary to comment on how hideous a song it is, but I might as well.. it sounds like it was written by 6 year olds: "Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal"(non-existant rhyme there).

But despite it's awfulness, I think the hype needs to end. It's just a song. Just an annoying girl. Time to end the sarcastic Facebook and Twitter comments. Time to rejoin reality and get on with our lives.

Sleeeeepy

We lost an hour last night. That's just what I need when i'm already shattered. I was slightly confused when I woke up because my iphone said a different time to my alarm clock, so just to check, I called the talking clock - and sure enough, we'd lost an hour. Wonderful. With a whole list of things to do, and the fact I didn't go to bed until midnight, I'm already tired.
