Atheism.

I've always told people that I am an atheist. Well, not always... since I was brought up a Christian (which the thought of makes me feel slightly ill). But as I was researching philosophers for my sixth course 'Philosophy and Ethics' course, I came across the British philosopher Ayer. He rejected Atheism, saying that he believed religious language was unverifiable and as such nonsense. This made me realise that telling people 'I do not believe in God' was ridiculous, as it still proposed the idea that a God existed to choose to believe in. So from now on, when I am asked 'Do you believe in God?' i will reply 'How can I, when one doesn't exist?' I am not sure how this will be received...

My Wonderful Grandmother :/

So my grandparents were down visiting us and at the dinner table we started talking about San Francisco (where my Uncle lives), and my grandma said "you know there are a lot of gay people in San Francisco?"

Really? I had no idea.
Of course i'm being sarcastic.

But she didn't stop there, oh no. She went on to explain the reason for this. According to her a lot of gay people live there because

"It's a warm climate."

Hmmm. Not sure what to think about that.. other than WTF.
